Edit/Update: After more testing I've found some of my USB 3.0 devices are just very sensitive & don't like extensions. I tested some branded 3.0 cables from other brands with the same issue, some standard looking 3.0 extensions that say 24 AWG for the wiring, at 6ft those would stay connected but would still drop when a lot of data is moving.The fact the standard cable worked better shows the quality could be a bit better on these cables but these cables aren't as bad as I first thought. If I plug in a USB 3.0 hub into the end of this 6.6ft cable then plug the drive that disconnects when plugged into the cable directly into the hub that is connected through this cable it works & can copy big files without a issue, so I'm upping the rating to 4/5.----------------------------Original review: Sadly I bought these months ago but never tested them, got the 6.6ft 2 pack, recently I finally went to use them, connected one to my new desktop & off of it had a 3.0 hub. After a few hours I noticed the devices randomly reconnect, then it happen again, I thought maybe it was just because the cord coming off the hub was a bit long already & the 6ft cable was just too long. Well the other extension of the 2 pack I had connected to my old desktop & plugged a 3.0 SSD into it, just went into a endless loop of connecting & disconnecting, then gave a USB device unrecognized error.. This drive works fine when connected directly to the system or on other extension cables... Either I got unlucky with defective cables or these are just junk, they work with 2.0 devices okay, 3.0 they aren't reliable at all.

Needed this to extend the cable on my iPhone and watch charger. Worked great!

These are good cables for the price. A good value.
