Seem to be great. The handle is comfortable and the tips are VERY sharp. Used one to mark a single mild steel project, maybe 35 scribes or so. I applied a lot of pressure on the rusted parts and firm on the rest. It marks easily and the tip is so sharp the line is very fine. Hard to see in the wrong light but not complaining. Seems as sharp now as when I started so the supplied tips should last quite a while. Great buy.

these are great for scribing. Scribing provides the highest level of accuracy for wood and metal working. I needed some points for a fixed point beam compass, and these are inexpensive and work great. They even come with vinyl caps to protect the delicate points. the 'pens' are well made and hold the points securely.

Good scribe for a great price. They magnetic end isn't the best, but at this price who cares. The carbide point is nice and sharp and it does the job.

I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

Excellent scribers and you can’t beat the price for 4 scribers with 20 extra tips and a metal ruler. The points are very sharp and durable. I’ve already etched on metal and glass and the tip remains sharp. The magnet at the top of the scriber is a nice addition as well. This is a very good deal that I would highly recommend.
