Q: What is the difference from the black version?

I’m not exactly sure but when I was shopping the product I thought it was just the color. I got the pink one and I will tell you, I have the thinnest,finest hair and I’ve always hated it and went through probably every product for hair and this is the first one I can say I absolutely love. Matter of fact, I’ve put my other hair things up for sell. Again, don’t know for sure but I think the black is just a different color. I would read all of the specifications for both and you should be able to tell. I love that thing. One of my best purchases ever. And it was about $20 cheaper here on Amazon than the company’s site. Hope that helps!

Q: Will this work on thick course curly hair?

it might. you might have to use the highest heat setting. it might be damaging to your hair. maybe search in youtube for a video?
