1950s throwback
The reason I purchased this radio. Is itโs look and price. Did not expect it to be much good. I am pleased to announce it is a very good radio. It reminds me of my youth the radios that were available the sound is pleasant. I can sit down and listen to this radio for hours. Surprisingly sensitive on all three bands. The FM band has big full sound. AM has a nice sound. And I can pick up all of the stations. That are local SW. at night you can pick up quite a few stations. With the whip antenna to me that is amazing for such an inexpensive radio. You can pick up a lot of stations on FM also. The radio isnโt a DXing powerhouse. But it holds its own. Now what I donโt like. The tuning knob is hard to work with easy to miss stations. The knob on the front of the radio is the volume knob. That should have been the tuning knob. Instead of the thumb wheel knob on the side. That would make more sense. And easier to work the radio. You can use a Nokia battery to power the radio. And you can recharge that battery but you can power it with three triple a batteryโs also. That is nice. I donโt know if you can charge those triple a batteryโs. This radio has the ability to use usb and tf cards. Which is great. For under ten bucks. You canโt go wrong you can give this radio to kids for presents. Then they can learn about radio. Even shortwave. This is a fun radio. I give it a a

Fun quirky little radio!
First, you have to set your expectations low. This is an $8.98 radio. Itโs chintzy. Once youโre past that, itโs actually a relatively decent radio. Sound plays loud with ok sound quality. Bluetooth works very well to stream music from a smartphone. The radio part is DSP so it does a good job of pulling in stations and holding them drift free on FM. I do not listen to AM so I canโt comment. Havenโt tried SW (shortwave) yet but Iโm assuming Iโll pick up very littleโฆas with all of my small pocket radios with SW. I like how the battery compartment holds 3AAA or a rechargeable BL5C rechargeable (Iโm using the latter and it works great). To be honest, I love the cheap Christmas Cracker build quality and the overall cheap aesthetic. You will never mistake this for a Panasonic or a Sony. But with lowered expectations, Itโs a fun little radio. Itโs very feature rich for an impossibly low price. I would definitely buy it again.

Sounds great!
Good quality for a cheap radio. The sound is better than other radios in my collection costing twice as much.

Best for You to Shop Around for a Portable Radio
I followed directions. Placed 3 AAA batteries in the unit and plugged it into the USB port in my truck with the connector cable provided with the radio. I could not get reception on AM or FM bands. I live in a metropolitan area where FM service, for instance, is good. I suggest you shop the portable radio mariket wisely before making a purcvhase.

Amazing Features
I was intrigued that this small radio will also play micro SD (TF) cards and function as a bluetooth speaker. I am using a card with over 400 songs and it works great. Having read the complaints about battery life I picked up a couple of new BL-5C cell phone batteries elsewhere for about $5 each and will test those out. Those batteries were pretty standard on Nokia phones back in the day and I have a universal charger to match them. Actually the ability to power this off the USB mini cable will normally be enough. I now have a small radio that I can use in my workplace to give me some tunes during the day. Outstanding!! UPDATE: A fully charged BL-5C battery got me 9.5 hours of continuous MP3 play from a TF card. The batteries are a perfect fit. UPDATE 2: Been playing it at work on USB power 40+ hours a week for 2 weeks. Very happy!!!

Eats Batteries
First the good news about the Wenpbouezeray radio. The case is solid, it pulls in weak stations, it has good sound and speech is very clear, it can produce loud volume with a very easy to use knob.. Now the bad news: It uses 3 AAA batteries that will last only around 20 hours at low volume. So, this would be a good radio to play for 5 or 10 minutes a day but not for listening to baseball games over a period of hours. After using this radio for many weeks I have been impressed by how well it holds onto pre-selected stations. Turn on the radio days later and the last station you dialed is perfectly tuned. There is no drift like other analog radios are prone to do.

Low cost very good radio
Worked very well for AM and FM, the MP3 worked very well, it has a good speaker sound, for shortwave I had to connect an external antena. Very good value for the price.

Get a Battery Operated Radio
I heard that the Swedish government told their people to buy a battery operated AM/FM/SW radio in preparation for the worst. I'm not Swedish but I decided I'd follow the advice. Great little radio. Easy to use.
