With mine, I just need to remove 3 star screws in the top of the glovebox, then 3 star screws under the front edge of the dashboard below the glovebox and the pop the end piece of the dashboard. Then I remove the section of dashboard with the glovebox. You'll then see a slot with one screw holding a cover in place which needs to be removed. Then pull out the old filter, place a new filter in, then replace the cover and remount the section of dashboard. Very simple. If you have a new vehicle or from the past decade, then you need to change this filter every year. You can easily find out if your vehicles has a cabin filter by Googling it. Dealerships charge too much to do this.
