This was my first time using a five sided propane melting furnace kit and I had no problems using it. It was very easy to use and I was able to melt aluminum and copper to cast into ingots. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to melt metal at a very reasonable price. It is reasonably priced and does what I need it to do.

This furnace can’t handle the high temperature of melting brass. The insulation in the lid is held by mild steel keepers that deteriorated very quickly in the high temperatures of melting brass and the insulation is falling out and the lid is warping badly. This is the second furnace that did this. They did replace the first one for fee but it is not built for brass.

Good quality, works right out of the box with just a wrench and propane. I was able to melt aluminum easily and quickly. The crucible plucker and pouring tongs are well built.

Everything in package was exactly what I expected, except the pouting tongs will not grip/close around the 7kg crucible. The very center(where the tongs swivel)hit the crucible and do not allow it to close, making me think that the wrong size was sent. I didn't want to return all items just because one piece didnt work. Hoping the seller will send the proper size. All other parts were perfect.

The included tongs are very useful. Although the surface of the furnace becomes unsightly after smelting, it does not affect the use at all. I think this furnace will last a long time.

The quality issues of this furnace are heart-wrenching. From missing parts to broken components, it feels like a dangerous gamble to rely on this product. The disappointment and concern for my own well-being have left me deeply saddened and questioning the trustworthiness of this furnace.

I enjoyed using this furnace and I was finally able to melt copper. The setup was easy, the instructions were well written, and it walks you through the entire process of melting and pouring metal, which is very easy to understand.
