Can it be ceiling mounted

This is an access panel for water/electrics. I've never seen one in a ceiling though

Can it be fitted within the shower area

It would depend on what the hatch is covering I had a small hole in the ceiling put in to identify where rain was leaking into my apartment it was used to cover the area. If you have ideas re electrics then it isn’t a good idea. If however It’s to cover a hole with pipe work for access it is a good solution.

What size cut out do I need to fit this hatch

157mm x 202mm is the size of the hole that needs to be created to use this access panel as the extra few millimeters are needed to account for the fixtures and adhesives to secure the item

how do you fix it? any special adhesive?

I always use a good quality silicone
