DEWALTDWA5100 Impact Ready Masonry Bit, 5/32" x 4" x 6"

At one time I used a regular drill bit to go through brick. Took it nice and slow and managed to make it through. Well, I figured cinder block would do the same. Wrong! Bought this to help out and BOY did it make a difference. It walked on me at first so my holes didn't light up perfectly but it was good enough to mount the key pad for my property gate.

I’ve bought cheaper masonry bits and they arrived warped. This is a straight, high quality bit.

I needed 28 holes drilled to a depth of 3" into a concrete block wall using a hammer drill. A single drill bit got through half the job before needing to be replaced. I'm not complaining, all masonry drill bits wear out, especially those under 1/2". Just use my experience to plan for your job.

I was not expecting this to do much considering I was using it for railroad ties. It melted through them like butter. Very good bit. Never have luck like this

I needed to bore some holes in my 60-year-old decorative brick outer wall, and this treated it like soft wood. The 5/32" size is pretty much perfect to make a hole to pass a 14 gauge ground lead through, which is what I needed to do.

If you want to create an orifice use some moist ointment to lube it up nicely... mmmm

Au début ça allait bien mais elle na pas durée aussi longtemps que je m'y attendais. J'ai remplacer par celles de Bosch qui sont sensiblement le même prix et elles ont durée bien plus longtemps pour le même travail.

These got me out of trouble when other brand refused to work on the brick.These did the job.
