I ordered this glove for my 6U baseball playing son. For the past two baseball seasons he’s worn a glove that is more “toy” than real leather glove. He has sensory issues and is extremely sentive to how things feel—especially on his hands and feet. The inside of this Rawlings glove is soft. It did take my son a few times of wearing it during practice to get used to the finger slots inside this glove. There are fabric slots designed to help young players spread their fingers into the leather slots. This glove didn’t need time to break in and it’s not super stiff to wear he has difficulty maneuvering it. Overall, he loves the space theme, he likes the way it feels, and he’s not complaining about the glove for practice or ball games.
