D.R.Harris & Co Marlborough Triple-Milled Shaving Soap Refill 100g

Fantastic shaving soap from one of the older established company's, one of the closest shaves I have had, recently I brought 2 trumpers soaps but was bitterly disappointed, because they have changed their formulation of the soap and I couldn't get a decent lather. After looking at some reviews online I found D R Harris was the soap I should have tried, fantastic will try some of the different scents from them when I've finished these, only hope they don't change their formula, as far as scent goes very nice not too over powering if you want to wear aftershave, I don't because I have sensitive skin, I swirled my brush for less than30 seconds and transferred brush to bowl and mixed took less than a minute or so to get thick creamy lather, we have hard water in our area these will last me a long time. Good soap, lathers up well, just the scent is a bit off putting in my opinion. It's a very dank smokey harsh scent, not what i was expecting at all, but all in all a good soap. But the scent did far from wow me.

cannot smell any fragrance in this soap, maybe just a hint. Cannot fault the performance of it though, probably will buy again. Up against some stiff competition though which are pound or two cheaper than this.

A great replacement for my discontinued L'Occitane Cade shaving soap. The first application was a little disappointing, but once it was worked a little, I found it better than the Cade soap.

All fine. It was a gift. No complaints. I have nothing else to say on the subject. Why does one have to use more words. If it is good,itis good what more does one have to say.....
