I would like to know if those who have used this long term have found it to be effective? I have a 1 year old dog who likely has cushings

I bought this as an alternative to the PetWellBeing Adrenal Gold (which I used for 2 months) because the dosage and price were lower.  However, after only a week of use my 10 yr old Shih Tzu began having stomach problems and blood in her stool. I discontinued use and, fortunately, the stomach problem ceased.  I would check with your vet about using this or any other homeopathic remedy.  I did not have the same problem with the Adrenal Gold, but now I'm afraid to use it because I'm not sure of the long term effects.  I didn't see any marked improvement with either---but I also didn't have her enzymes checked during use.  If you decide to use either be very, very careful and watchful and let your vet know what you are doing.

Wondering if anyone used any other supplements in addition to the cushex?  i am giving flaxseed lignans  milk thistle melatonin.

I'm giving my dog Cushex along with Biotin 5,000mcg capsule twice daily, vitamin E 400 iu once daily, and fish oil 1,000 mg 2 capsules daily. She is doing well with this. She still drinks a lot but not as often and can sleep all night without having to go out to urinate. Clipped hair that did now grow back  in patches since last summer is beginning to slowly grow back.
