Got this because I've always wanted to get tased. Got ready with my brother lined up to tase me, my blood is pumping, and I'm shaking from the nerves. It makes a loud pop and it feels like I got shot in the back with a daisy red rider. And then.... nothing barbs didn't connect. So now I go through all of that again.... it doesn't connect.... again.... I spent the extra money to get a taser that would shoot barbs, and it's impossible to get them to connect with your target. They don't fly straight and only hit the target sideways. Tried the stun gun part and it felt like dog collar shocking. If you're considering this for self defense, don't. Worst thing could happen should you have to use it is it doesn't preform when need it. Extremely disappointed suggest just saving up the money and buying a higher quality one that you can have the confidence will work when you need it.

Defective, wouldn't recommend shooting the taser gun,but close up stun may be reliable.
