80's Mix Expansion - 50 New Cards - Music Card Game for Family, Adults, and Teens. Hilarious, Addictive, and Competitive Fun for Game Nights!

If you like apples to apples, you would LOVE this game. It's so much fun. I would highly recommend using Apple Music if you have it. It was harder to play using Youtube. I wish there were more games like this!

This game is pretty fun for the family. It's interesting to see what songs people can come up with. The only problem is... this expansion is for 80's songs, which makes it difficult for some people. Knowing what songs are from the 80's can be difficult. But overall, its pretty good.

I love the expansion pack. My boyfriend is an 80s baby and when I told him it was a game for 80s songs he lit up. We played with a bunch of our friend and it was so much fun. We got to talk about artists and movies that we haven’t in a long time. We also had a laugh at some of the songs that were picked. Playing just the expansion pack was a lot of fun. Adding with the actual main game is even more fun. It’s great fun for everyone.

Such a fun game, but you will need a few packs to make this less repetitive. This pack will definitely be a hit if you grew in the 80's! I would mix this one easily with general packs when the older folks are around, might be more difficult sometimes if you have younger players as some cards are really 80s specific.

This game is certainly easy enough to learn, however there just isn't really enough to it to make it a game with much replayability. This is probably a great introduction to party games, to see if your friends would like to play games at future gatherings but it falls short for serious party gamers. There are things you can do to make the game a bit more balanced by house ruling it, but the creators of the game should have been able to think it through. I did purchase one expansion to see if that might have added anything, but sadly it did not. The cards are also a bit flimsy and I would hope with cards with a bit more body.

This is a great game because its super easy to play when sitting around and having drinks with friends. Very fun!

I didn't pay attention to the fact that this was an expansion pack...so I ended up purchasing the base game as well to try first. As other reviewers mentioned the game plays like apples to apples or cards against humanity, where one player reads the prompt, everyone else chooses a song that fits, and the one who read the prompt judges or chooses their favorite. You get to a certain number of cards and win. We got 3 expansion packs and have enjoyed them all! It works best for people with a little bit of music knowledge. And everyone in my house has a phone or tablet that is linked to our Spotify account, so they have a lot of music at their fingertips, which is helpful. My youngest will type in the category to Spotify and cheat a bit, but it usually makes his response a little funnier! You could play this without the original game, the rules are very clearly laid out and the cards are themed so stand-alone well.
