Terrible quality
Terrible quality. Not sure if I got a defective one or what but to start, I couldn’t even get the can opener through the can without having to practically hammer it in, second it kept crushing my can and not cutting properly. Struggled with it for 20 minutes before I could somewhat get my can open..

Old school is better
Hated the can opener we had at home. The newer style that quits working after 3 years. This has been a game changer for us!

Handle broke after a few months
The stainless steel part is ok but the handle broke after a few months.

Solid build, I just can't figure out how you're supposed to use it!
This thing is solidly built and doesn't look like it's going to fall apart any time soon, but we couldn't figure out how you're supposed to use it. It's not like the simple can openers you find on a pocket-knife, and it's not as easy to use as the super-complex geared twisty style. I just don't get it, and couldn't figure out how to use it. But if this is the type of can opener you're used to and you know how to use it, this is probably a good one. I just have no idea how to use it.

Easy to use
I have been looking for one for a long time and I do not know way I never checked Amazon before for one. I have trouble using the ones with a turn key, so this may old-fashioned but it still works great.

Traditional
Im 80:years old, and appreciate this old style can opener. My cabin is off grid, and when I need electrical power i must run generator. This older style can opener is perfect for an old man that doesnt want to lose his old ways. The handle is long and make opening canned items much easier than most other can openers.

Doesn’t open cans
I never thought that such an old style opener can be so bad. I open cans very very rare. First, it came with the packaging opened. Me: it’s ok if somebody didn’t like it and made a return. Then, when my mom first used this she couldn’t open a can. Me: my mom forgot how to use it. Then, when I first used it, I thought i did wrong. However, the third time we used it finally I understood the reason is the opener itself.

At last, a simple workable can opener, if this was a mouse trap you couldn't build a batter one
