So far I'm liking this heater
Last update: I've already pulled this heater out to start using again after putting it away during summer and it's still working great. I used this heater everyday through the winter last year and plan to do the same this year. It puts out good heat and overall it's been a great heater. Glad I purchased this brand and hope to get a few more winters from this heater. Update: I've been using this heater pretty much everyday for over a month now and I'm very happy with it. I was hoping it would help save some on the power bill even if it was only $5 or $10 since its advertised energy efficient and has eco mode but, I'll be honest, I didn't really see any difference in my bill using this one versus my old heaters I use to use or even the others I tried but it does do very well with heating what I need it to and it heats up faster than some others I've had. I really like this heater so I hope it lasts awhile I just got this and have used for about a day and a half so will update again after some use. First the shipping was quick which was great because I needed asap. I really like the look of this heater and it heats up quickly. I seen some reviews talking about an odor and the booklet says to run on high for a couple hours to dispelle any odors but mine doesn't have a smell to it thankfully, no odors at all. It took a min to figure everything out as far as settings and such but it's pretty simple once you do. My first 2 heaters like this one I had for 10 yrs one went out then a month later the other since then I've bought 4 different brands and the longest I got before they just stopped working was 6 months so I don't think they are made as well as they use to be but I have heard nothing but good things with this brand and figure it was my next choice and I have high hopes for this one and I hope I get a few years out of it. If not, as much as I love this type of heat this will be my last purchase. So far though I'm really liking this one, it heats really well and I like all the safety features it has. I would recommend it at this time. I will update again after I get some use out of it and I hope the next update will be nothing but good things on this heater.

A Good Choice for a Cold Day
This is a nice compact, efficient, and easy to use oil-filled heater. It is slow to warm a room but that is expected from and oil-filled heater. Once the room begins to warm up, and the air circulates, it creates a comfortable environment as long as there are no drafts allowing your heat to escape. Fire risk appears to be minimal as long as the unit is in good condition and there are no frayed chords or damage. It would be best to plug this unit directly into the wall and not use power strips or extension cords. The remote is a nice touch and the commands are easy to understand and use. The front panel graphics are clean and minimal but I would like the front buttons to be more visible. The dark aesthetic is nice but you can't see the buttons in low light unless you have the remote handy. Overall a fine purchase at a good price point.

Highly recommend!
I bought one a couple years ago, I live in a condo community with a common hvac/hot water plant. I live at the end of the line and suffered 55 degree days on end when the night temps dip below freezing. This has kept me warm. then I got a roommate and I put this in her room, it's kept her comfy this whole season. Then this stupid winter hit with the snowcrete and almost three weeks of nights below 20 so I bought a second one. Between the two of them, my 3 br 2 bath condo is at 67(I just plugged it in an hour ago). Without them I run my faucets all night to prevent freezing. With these radiators I can function normally, despite my unit heat alone maintains temps that are barely legal. I love these, I keep them several feet away from anything, but they are amazing. Note that I have no children here or pets that go near it. It gets hot like other space heaters you cannot touch it!

Nice heater, but know where to use it.
I bought this heater in preparation for renting an older house without central heating and air. I'd read that oil filled heaters were better at maintaining heat over time and could help with energy costs, so this is what I opted for. Overall, I like it. Controls are great, I appreciate the safety features, and it's easy to just roll around the house. However, I find it performs best when it's in a more enclosed space instead of out in the open due to it providing radiant heat. It works well in the hallway/area that connects my bedroom, computer room, and bathroom. It heats up that smaller space easily and the heat will eventually radiate into those rooms enough to be comfortable. In the living area/kitchen? Not so much. That area is much more open with less walls to maintain the heat that radiates from the fins. A more open space like that would benefit more from forced air, I believe. So, this radiator is still worth it, just be more aware of where you're using it (more than I was initially, lol).

Great heater
This review is after one year of owning the heater. Works great in my RV. I like the fact that it's silent while operating and I can choose between 600watts, 900watts. or 1500watts. I like to use H1 at 600w when I'm not in the RV and H2 at 900w when I'm inside so I'm not pulling too much current. The remote comes in handy when it gets s little too warm and I need to adjust the temp at night.

ECO Mode is USELESS - I'll explain why there is NOTHING 'ECO' about it
First of all I LOVE oil heaters and I'm disappointed because I really wanted to like this one. The BIGGEST issue with it is the 'ECO' (Thermostat) mode is OPPOSITE of what 'ECO' is supposed to be. It wastes energy needlessly and completely ignores your thermostat setting. I like to keep my bedroom 1-2F warmer at night instead of turning up the central heat. My old thermostat oil heater will simply 'warm up' for 10 minutes and then cycle on/off in 'low power' mode since it's already at room temperature. THAT is how a thermostat 'ECO' (Thermostat) mode is supposed to work. This DREO will run at FULL POWER for 40 Minutes REGARDLESS if you set it near room temperature. In my picture you can see I even lowered it to 55F! (Room temp was 70F) and it was still running at full power for over 30 minutes. Then what's the point of the thermostat!? It's just wasting power and heat. You would think it's a defect but no, hidden in the description that's how it was programmed. This is from the manufacturer: " For the first 40 minutes, regardless of the temperature set on the ECO mode, the thermostat does not intervene and remains on high. This is designed to ensure that the oil heater quickly raises the room temperature when it is low, providing rapid warmth to your room. " So they basically programmed it to 'bypass' the thermostat for 40 Minutes in Thermostat 'ECO' Mode. That makes NO sense. Oil heaters only need around 10 minutes max to warm up, then the thermostat should take over and adjust power if needed to reach the desired temperature. Also in my picture you can see that it's not even a true 1500W heater, it only draws ~1435W. My old oil heater draws 1540W. It still gets hot but it's misleading specs. There was also a faint high pitched whine coming from the LCD screen (not the heating element) because it would go away if I turned the display off with the remote. And speaking of the display, it doesn't even show you what power level (LOW 600W, MED 900W, HI 1500W) mode the heater is running in while in thermostat mode. But of course I found it it's running on HIGH for 40 minutes. My old heater with a small display shows you and even lets you 'limit' the power to LOW or MEDIUM in thermostat mode if you want. It's a shame because it's a really attractive looking heater, but the entire reason you pay a premium for an oil heater with a digital display is for the Thermostat function, which doesn't work like it's supposed to. This is basically only good as an oil heater with manual controls, so might as well get one of those for half the price.

Excellent for my purposes
I have 3 of these in my home to heat specific areas of my house that I actually use. So far this winter they have worked perfectly for my needs and have kept the lived in sections of my home comfortable. Personally these are way cheaper than running my electric heater strips to heat the lived in areas, and my power bill has reflected that. Overall I prefer the low power consumption of radiator heat over other heating methods especially since they retain their heat even after no longer actively heating. The devices are durable and the tip over feature is great. My cat loves to sleep beside them and has not had any issues (other than with anything in my house they collect dust). While this particular model is a bit higher than others, it works well and the design is solid. I have had no issues with mine over the past few months and am looking forward to using them for a long time. As with all things YMMV.

Great Heater!
We needed a radiator to keep a cold extension that has our water pipes in it warm. This one had great reviews so we went with it - so glad we did! It's silent and does the job! Very easy to move and easy to use. It's a good size - big enough to warm the place up, but surprisingly compact. Love that it can auto shut off if we forget about it.
