Keeps my room nice and toasty
My central heat is down waiting on a part, and of course the weather got cold. I was using a infrared convection heater I already to warm my bedroom but had some safety concerns with it. I remember my grandparents using a oil filled heater like this back in the 90s for heating an small added room in there house and it did pretty good. I went online and found them pretty reasonable as far as cost and many we’re similar to what they had but then I saw this Dreo brand with remote, timer and digital display and decided to try it. I’m glad it did. The next day I ordered a second one. It kept me toasty all night and I was able to sleep better knowing it wasn’t goin to catch fire as the elements is inside and it radiates a gentle heat. I liked the design of this Dreo not only for the digital features and remote but it also has a nice modern design with rounded fins and a bit more surface area. It displays the current temp then goes off so it won’t keep you up with the light and I can set a start timer each day and a time off to save energy. I kept it on eco mode and it does a nice job of warming my bedroom. I ordered a second one for my den. Even when my central heat is fixed it will come in handy to take the chill off in my room so I can keep my central set lower. If you don’t need the remote or digital control a dial one will work just fine. If you plan to move it from room to room without allowing it to cool down you may want to choose one with a better handle. You can move it warm but the handle does get somewhat warm and the ends get hot too. But unlike a exposed element heater it’s much more economical and safer as the oil inside keeps warmth while it cycles the thermostat. Plus is quiet. My other heater buzzed and could get knocked over easy. This unit does have a tip over shut off but as long as you keep it in a area to itself your good it’s very stable. I’ve seen these units from $65 to $150. Mine was $99. You can even find them with attachments for warming/ drying towels and clothes. I feel safe with the Dreo and that’s why I ordered a second unit

LOVE IT!
No need for a screw driver to put on the wheels. The screws come with wing nuts so you can just finger tighten them in. The screws lined up real easy with the holes. It's the room really nice and warm. You can adjust the thermostat for whatever temperature you like. The remote control is really handy. There is a timer that will shut the heater off After 1 hour or 2 hours or 3 hours etc. You can also program the heater to come on at a certain time in the morning. That is a great feature so that your room will be warm before you get out of bed. It does get kind of hot but not hot enough to blister your skin just hot enough that you know you shouldn't hold on to it. I have 4 cats and was afraid they might burn themselves. But if they touched it they would be off of it quick enough there would be no injury. No fan to make noise for suck and dust that you have to clean..

Great Heater
I love this space heater. I previously bought the Dr. Heater, an infrared heater, which works great but I wanted one without a fan. After doing some research I bought this. It works great. I followed suggestions / instructions to run it on the highest setting in a well ventilated room for a few hours when you first get it. You definitely want to do that so it can burn off any smells that occur in manufacturing. After doing that I found that if I did run on the highest setting again I initially might smell "that smell" a tiny bit but that went away. I use it in an approximately 350 square foot room and rarely run it on the highest setting (H3). I typically get it to the temperature I want then put it on Eco mode so it can hold the temp without constantly using electricity and only do so when the temp drops. So I found it uses less electricity than the fan-based heaters. On Eco mode you don't feel a lot of heat emanating from it but it really is putting off heat in the room, and not a drying heat like with the heaters with fans. Last, it doesn't get too hot on the fins, which is great because I have two cats. I feel safer with this type of heater especially around my pets. Highly recommend.

Works Good, very modern design
Overall this is a good heater. It's extremely quiet and you can even turn off the display light which is great if your a light sleeper and sensitive to light and sounds. It heats a small room pretty well but it does take time. I like the setting options as well. The main reason for the 4 starts instead of 5 is because it sucks to move around. It has 1 indented handle and it's gets pretty hot, so when you go to move it around you have to carry it quickly so you don't burn yourself. Also it tilts when you carry it because theres not a handle on both sides. The other side is way too hot to touch so you can only carry it with one hand. It makes it very annoying to lift up and move around. Especially if you have stairs or any kind of lip, or elevated surface in your home.

Awesome
This thing is awesome. My toddler’s bedroom is hard to keep a constant temperature. It’s a fairly large room with 40 year old windows. We tried a different fan style space heater that had an auto temp on/off setting, but it kept waking her up in the middle of the night when it would turn on. Any parent knows you do not want infants or toddlers waking up unnecessarily. I upgraded to this radiator heater and, not only is it silent, but the room temperature stays with 1° all night long unless the house furnace is set too high. Because of that, I can set the furnace slightly lower than normal because I know the bedroom will stay constant and warm. I love the ability to set the temp I want and leave it. I’ve had other oil filled radiators that only have a hot to cold dial, and it’s a pain trying to guess the temperature. The quality of the unit is also very nice. The screen/ display is surprisingly nice. The only downside is when you first turn it on, it sets itself to high for an hour, so that can spike the temperature. I don’t understand why that can’t be turned off, but I have to make sure to turn the heater on before bedtime so it doesn’t shoot the room temp up too high. Either than or I just turn the temp all the way down during the day to prevent it from triggering the full blast mode from having to turn it on. Overall, solid unit and I’m happy I bought it.
