SuperFOIL Foil Tape - Thermal Reflective Peel and Stick Foil Tape for Sealing Seams and Edges 100mm x 20m

I used this SuperFOIL foil tape when insulating my entire shed with SuperFOIL insulation, mainly to seal all the seams and edges between sheets. The tape sticks very well and bonds cleanly to the foil insulation without lifting at the edges. Once applied, it stays put and creates a neat, continuous seal, which is exactly what you want when trying to maintain a thermal barrier. It’s easy to work with, cuts cleanly, and doesn’t feel flimsy or cheap. After installation, the joins look tidy and professional rather than patched together. Overall, a solid, purpose-made tape that does its job properly. If you’re using SuperFOIL insulation, this is the right tape to finish the job neatly and effectively.

Hard to stop wrinkles ,so a tape dispenser would be a good idea if one can be found to fit.....if not take care to not put it on its side as its easily damaged and wont reel off without ripping, that said its effective if annoying to use in a loft without a tape dispenser available on amazon but not sure if it will fit this wide a tape.

Was a little difficult to get off the cooked potato but lovely and fluffy inside. 9/10 would definitely recommend.

Currently in the process of insulation an extension with insulation boards. The joins are then taped with aluminium tape. All the tape I have used so far is thick fool and comes with backing paper on it, which you peel off to stick. I was almost finished the job ordered this small roll. This tape does not have paper backing, it is not very sticky at all and if you hold it up to the light you can see through it. Very disappointing product, avoid.

works extremely well with the superfoil insulation, usually easy to apply and leaves a tidy result. However from time to time the tape splits, even after cutting across the tape at the end of each join. This wastes tape and makes the taping process much more complicated. (crawling around rafters I really want something that works right and simply first time)

Not like proper aluminium tape. It's more like extremely thin, shiny, sticky plastic tape. It did the job that I bought it for but was very fiddely and often tore in a shredded fashion when trying to start off.

Il basso prezzo doveva farmi capire di stare alla larga. Purtroppo non l'ho fatto. Ho ricevuto un rotolo di nastro larghezza 100mm come dichiarato, ma dire che sia "nastro di alluminio" è ingannevole! E' un nastro finissimo (pochi micron, tipo lo scotch trasparente per chiudere i regali di Natale), che ha ricevuto una metallizzazione miserissima. Mettendo una mano tra lui e una lampada... vedo evidentemente la mano in trasparenza!! Chi poco spende, spende due volte.

Colle très bien sur les films aluminium d'isolant thermique, se découpe comme du scotch avec les dents. Top. N'est pas fait pour coller sur des surfaces non lisses comme le bois
