We have narrow windows on either side of our front door. Due to the limited number of windows on the front of our home, which faces south, we don't get much bright light anywhere else. I wanted to find something that would still let in natural light, but provide a bit more privacy (we get a lot of people coming to the door and looking inside to see if we're home) than just uncovered windows. Also, we have three little kids and a dog who all like to stand at the front door and look out to the street using these side front door windows. At first, I bought one cling to "test" it and see if it would look good and work. $10 later, I bought 5 more clings to finish the job! I put 3 clings on each tall, narrow window. The first cling on both sides starts about 10" down from the top of the window. Then the second cling on both sides is about 1/4" beneath the first cling. The third cling is about 1/4" below the second one. The bottom of the third cling on both sides comes about to mid-thigh level if someone were standing in front of the glass. In other words, we did not cover the full height of the windows. These clings are awesome. They peal away from the backing with ease. There's no use for water or soap to make them stick and if you "mess up" in positioning one, you simply peal it off and do it over again. Very easy! On many of the edges of the clings that came up to the edge of the windows frames, I used a very sharp razor blade and while pushing the cling into the crack between the glass and the wood with the blade edge, I cut the extra cling material away with NO tearing or ripping. It looks great. Sunlight still streams inside, but we have privacy from anyone at eye level wanting to look into our home. The kiddos and doggie still can look outside. I highly recommend these for a quick project that will probably take you 8 minutes per cling once you get the hang of it. The colors are light grey, soft yellow gold, clear, and a cloudy clear with a pattern "etched" into it. Where the parts of the medallion (5 pieces per cling), meet, there is open glass, which someone could still look into, but to do so, they'd have to push their nose up against the window. So, if someone is SUPER nosey, yes they could still see inside your home, but for someone standing at a "normal" and appropriate distance from your front door, they won't see inside.

This was fast and simple to install. I've done other window clings, so I have experience. The only difficulty was getting the corners to stop slipping around as I squeegeed them.To get the middle piece centered, I measured the width and height of my window, then subtracted the measurements of the center piece from it and then decided by 2. That have me the amount of room I needed on either side. I then drew a dotted line where the edge of the center piece should like up with an erasable marker.All in all pleased.

Very nice covered the area for some privacy and easy to apply

These are fabulous. To bad other clings are no where near as nice as these. Easy to place and easy to rearrange if you aren’t centered. I have 3 of these on windows facing my neighbors house. These are placed on the upper windows (double hung) and the lower windows have an opaque full window cling on to prevent anyone from seeing inside my house. The opaque window cling from another manufacturer and vendor was a nightmare to cut and hang.

Looks so real

Wanted something for my half glass patio door. Glass area is 35h x 21w for reference. Love the look, does not look cheap and it is textured so it doesn't look like a "sticker"

I put the decal on a window in my bathroom and it looks wonderful. It has been exposed to the shower spray for a month so far and has not been affected at all. It was very easy to apply - only took a few minutes. I wanted a stained glass window, but could not afford a real one and this decal is a great substitute. I totally love the way it looks.Update: Over 2 years later - it still looks great, just some minor fading. The window can be cleaned around the decal without disturbing it at all.

I like it. Needed it to prevent birds from hotting the glass. So far so good. And it looks ok. Not tacky.
