Great piece of kit for he price
Needed to sheet a ceiling on my own and bought this lift. Simple to put together and use. Lifted 12mm plasterboard no bother and did not break sweat once. Easy purchase and quick delivery to my home address. This lift saved the day and was well worth the price.

Lifting 3m boards with ease
Needed to put the ceiling up in my own time and this made it easy . I'm unsure it would make a great Monday-Friday Iwork horse as i think it would fail but for the DIY like my self that needs a help at the weekend / evenings it was great .

Saves you effort and can board on your own easily
Just done 90 sheets of 12.5mm on the ceilings of a single storey dwelling over the past week. Easy to put up / strip down and move from room to room.. Frame, lifting tower, wire are fine and will last the course . The only issue is the metal on the wind up mechanism where the wheel joins it needs to be strengthened. As the wire rotates around the drum it puts a lot of strain on the bracket / support arm. It bends and the wire starts to touch the wheel. I have another house to do in a few months so will strengthen it up before then. Good value for money and saves a trip to the chiropractor after boarding!

Gets the job done - but that's it
I managed to slab my ceiling with this hoister all alone. The heaviest board I used was around 36kg, and frankly I thought the hoister would collapse or break - it felt really flimsy and emitted squeeking noises - but nothing bad happened. I missed a feature that would allow me to fix the rotation of the top cradle, but on even ground I managed without it. The ring that acts as a safety plug for when setting up the tripod was stuck, and I couldn't move it with my hands. I had to hammer the hell out of it and remove the spring temporarily to be able to set it up, so that's just another display of sub-par quality design/construction. Apart from these, like I said, it allowed me to get the job done, and it cost me the same amount of money as if I rented something similar for just a weekend.
