No just insert the pod in the machine as it is.

No this product is not compatible with the Vertuo or Original capsule machines. This product is only for professional machines as the capsule shape and size are different to domestic machines.

Will these work with a Gemini machine?

I use the pods with a Nespresso Zenius but since it’s in the same professional family as the Gemini machines, I suspect it will work. Best of luck!
