Firm Hold But Flexible
I have been using this MR Style Paste to style my hair and am quite impressed by it, as it holds my hair in place quite well without giving it that stiffened feel. It also gives my hair a thicker texture to it, and adds a slight sheen of shine after brushing the product through. I like that I don't have to use much of the product to get the hold that I want for my hair, as well as the fact that this paste doesn't leave my hair feeling oily, wet or stiff, and instead leaves it feeling soft to the touch and looking healthier. It's a very good paste and will last quite a while since not much of it is needed, and it spreads quite well when brushed through.

A moderate amount of reworkable hold. Smells nice, works well.
MR isn't a brand I've come across before. This smartly branded 75g screw-lid tub contains quite a light white paste. It doesn't feel super thick on the fingers before applied to the hair and it has a pleasant fragrance. A little citrus and quite masculine, without being your dad's kind of masculine! It works fairly easily into the hair. I use this kind of product on slightly damp hair and this stuff does disappear a little more than my usual product. If you were using it in dry hair I suspect this might not be the case. It washes off your fingers without much fuss and you're good to go for the day. It leaves a Matt finish and lasts through the work day. I tend to run slightly wetted fingers through my hair at lunch to restyle - cause I'm vain like that! It lasts OK until I brush it out in the evening. It doesn't massively clag up your hair, which is nice. I'd like it to give a little bit more hold, if I was being picky. It's not the cheapest, but it's fairly competitively priced compared with my usual brand and similar products.

Doesn't look greasy or heavy, even on very fine hair
This is good stuff. I'm a professional hair stylist and use all sorts of products for different things, I primarily wanted to try this for thinning hair, but also thought it might be suitable for people with really fine hair, when normal waxes or creams just bog the hair down and look horrible. It's a pretty light cream-style product, with a nice fresh scent. The smell is not too strong, but it's nice. I went quite light on the use at first and just used a small amount and it was really good for fine hair, didn't look greasy at all and wasn't heavy in the hair. The hold is not the absolute strongest, but it's nice and flexible and it is enough to hold most regular styles. I don't know about the main aim of thickening the hair up, or at least looking like that, to me it didn't really seem to do much of anything. On the flip side, with it being so light and not looking greasy, it did look much thicker than when you use normal hair waxes and the hair just instantly sinks and looks flat, so I guess in a way it does work.Overall I did think this was a really interesting product. The hold is good and the fact it doesn't make even very fine, thinning hair look bogged down and greasy is brilliant. I'd definitely recommend it for anyone with either thinning hair or even someone with fine hair who are looking for a decent hold and find regular texture creams or waxes too heavy.

Pretty Average
This hair product does smell quite nice. It’s not too overpowering. It’s firm enough to scoop from the pot and works into hair quite easily. It does what you would expect.
