Great blend of silicone and padded mitt. Was pleasantly surprised to discover seam at end of finger tips which helped keeping the mitt in position. Pleased with quality, design and color.

Update 1/2023: lasted a long long time! Just this month had to toss them bc a guest used them and burned them. I was really bummed bc these were so reliable!!!!! Now that I sew, I'm making my own. But that non slip grip is really hard to beat! Updated review 6/2020: Still works so well. Though made in China, this particular product is legit. No stitches have frayed, the non slip design has not cracked or fallen off- but instead, fully and completely intact. I use it not just to hold hot pots/dishes, but also when I need to hold a large spaghetti squash while scooping out the seeds in order to provide a better grasp. Continues to keep my hands free from burns and heat. I still trust these mitts and I foresee that they will continue to last a long time. Very grateful. Not a single burn mark on the mitts, either! And I work with cast irons!! The pictures attached were taken for this review so you can see just how good they gave held up for over 2 years. I put them in the wash with my towels and will dry them in the dryer. I cook or bake nearly daily, so these get used a lot!! Grateful for a quality made product! Updated review 12/4/18: Bumping up my 4 star review to a 5 star review. These no longer feel bulky anymore. I have washed them in the washer a few times and dried them outside. They have really held together so well. They are my "go to" oven mitts. I was given a thinner pair of oven mitts and the side by side comparison helps me see the difference in quality between the two, with these being the better. The slightly thinner mitts, obviously, don't handle the heat as well. As other home cooks know, it can be easy to burn yourself in the kitchen if you don't have good habits and/or good gear. These mitts have kept me safe as I cook anywhere between 5-7 nights a week. They are still doing very well, they are now very very easy to work with, even with springform pans. It just took a bit of getting used to. I am so content and happy with these mitts, I will not be looking for anymore. And with such great quality, I suspect I won't have to search for any for years to come. Wonderful, quality product! Original review on April 14, 2018: Quality product! The non-slip design really does help keep a good grip on those hot, glass baking dishes! I have always liked long oven gloves to protect up to my wrists, and these certainly fit the bill. My *only* gripe is that it sometimes feel too bulky, particularly when I'm trying to remove a springform pan which obviously doesn't have any handles. But... its because of the bulk/fabric that I have NEVER burned myself while using these gloves. They absolutely do the job! I just haven't met a pair of oven gloves that I thought were particularly *awesome*. But of the many I have purchased, these are the best!

These oven mitts are a bit big and sloppy, but they are quite heat resistant. Obviously, no hidden quality here, but the aesthetic might not appeal to all users. I like the red, it brightens my kitchen. But for those seeking a subdued look, pick a different color. As for quality and usefulness: these are great. (I was going to describe them as "hot" but they keep your hands cool, so they are not really hot.)

Bought on a whim during the spring sale and I must say-these are fantastic! Nice, thick mitts with grips- wish I could buy a couple of more sets at the price they were. Hopefully I will see them on sale in the future.

Maybe I shouldn’t have bought such nice ones. I’m now worried about getting them all burned up and dirty.
