I got this to replace another splint. The other one just wasn't as comfortable. It's the kind that conforms from the top of the foot and the straps go around under the foot - as opposed to this, the form is along the back of the calf/ankle/arch and the straps secure it over the top of the foot. The wedge has velcro and is secure. The cushioning is soft. It arrived very fast and I've already been wearing it all morning. It is bulky and warm (all the cushioning) so that might make it a little harder to sleep in but I don't what an alternative would be - to get the foot in the right place comfortably bulkiness and warmth are something I just have to deal with. The product is great, I'm glad I bought it.

This works better then some of the others I've tried and is more comfortable with all the padding. However I did not use this as intended for plantar's fasciitis, I used it to help recover from an injury and keep my foot in a certain position. It is very bulky though as others have noted.

Hard to sleep with this on, but useful when just watching TV or reclining. I have skinny legs but can still secure the foot and maintain the angle. Probably not the best option for a petite woman, but will fit normal to large men easily. Oh, and the spiked ball is awesome! Roll that under your foot when it hurts and it will do wonders, then strap on the cumbersome apparatus for an hour.

I had the misfortune to break an ankle, had surgery, and cannot bear weight for six weeks. After first two weeks that changed me from plaster splint to removable hard plastic walking boot but it was really bulky and heavy. Not to mention it was putting pressure on the thin skin that was stitched together and really painful there. I still use that boot if I'm out of the house on my knee scooter but for in the house this option keeps my foot still enough and this is lightweight, soft, a hundred times more comfortable than the boot. I'm size 8 shoe in women and the medium here has an extra inch of length at the toes

Was a good brace after my cast

I have a torn meniscus. I have had numerous cortisone shots and nothing has helped. I ordered this in a Large and Extra Large. I ended up keeping the XL, due to the support and stability it gave my knee. I kept the larger one and overlapped it on the top of my knee. Where it shows the knee showing in the pictures, I completely wrapped mine. This brace has been better than I could have ever imagined. I would definitely recommend this for stability, support and comfort A+++.

I was comfortable to ware but, I would not stay on. Every couple nights I would find this off my foot in the morning. Also, the straps are too long. When strapping it on it ends up being at the end of the Velcro strip. I do not have scrawny leg. I am 6'1, 225# w/ size 11 shoe.
