My one complaint is that the leather band is not terribly secure. I have had to be really careful with it. If you like the leather look feel free to drop a bit of fabric glue on either side and it should stay put. My intention is to wait for a contrasting lace that I really like and then replace the band with that. Would buy again, but I think this hat is going to last a while and I won't have to.
