Good solid product - great for topical application on teeth
Good! Solid. What do I use this for? My teeth! Use it on your teeth twice a day and watch (and feel) what happens! My teeth have never been so solid and feeling so good. Who knew that calcium carbonate from the outside, applied topically was so effective in boosting teeth health. Well you do now! I just directly apply the powder by putting in a small jelly jar, tapping some directly in my mouth and working it around with the tongue or b. put some in my hand then use a tooth brush to gently apply around my teeth. c. then just follow with appropriate essential oil drops, a good organic toothpaste or baking soda. Do this right after eating any sugar based food or acidic foods and you'll probably end up not having to go to the dentist much into the future...

Purchased as nutritional supplement for squirrels
While researching the feeding of wild squirrels I learned that feeding them certain items including such things as peanuts and cashews that people presume are healthy can, in fact, be very detrimental due to contributing to a serious calcium deficiency. Supplementing the diet with calcium carbonate can help prevent this. I found this food grade calcium carbonate and am lightly coating “good” nuts (raw almonds, pecans, walnuts) with the powder which coats them well and does not deter the squirrels from eating them. Probably an unusual use of this product!

Great
Using it to make Purple non-sulfur bacteria water, needed a water soluble calcium to make the fertilizer.

I purchased this in lieu of Pearl Powder because I read it was the same thing~
I mix this with Castor oil and put around my eyes. I wanted pearl powder however it's quite a bit more expensive. Essentially pearl powder is calcium carbonate. Seems to work just fine.
