BE CAREFUL THAT THIS PRODUCT CONFORMS WITH LOCAL BUILDING CODES
I liked the product, it looked good and was easy to install. However, this handrail failed to meet local building codes since the handrail was interrupted by its middle supports. Now, since I purchased this handrail as part of a larger renovation, I have failed my final inspection and time has expired for a return.

12 Foot railing is only 11'10"!
I ordered this railing because it was one of the few that was exactly 12' long. I have studs in my garage that are 2' on center, so I knew that would work out perfectly because I could have the ends exactly on a stud. So I placed my brackets where they needed to be, only to realize that the stupid rail is 2 inches short! Another issue I had was the cheap screw heads that kept stripping on my, no matter how careful I was. I contacted Amazon support and they are sending me a new rail, so I hope this one is actually 12' long. I can also use the extra screws the send to replace the ones I stripped out. Geez.

Easy to assemble. Very sturdy

Strong and looks good.
Fit and finish as seen in pictures. After installation it feel very strong. My dad is really happy using it. Its not a single piece but rather multiple pieces connected together to get the length you need. They connect really well and canโt really feel or see the connections.
