Very good value for money and ease of use. You will need a heavy hammer for bigger logs. (2kg+). But overall, good product and hopefully will last a long time.

It does what it say on the tin!! Excellent tool and brilliant to split the wood. Thoroughly recommend

Simple wedge tool, used with medium club hammer. Best on slightly cracked logs of around eight inches. Not failed to split a log yet though requires significant effort with the hardest. The logs will also need to be placed next to a step corner/wall to give them stability to prevent them being knocked over when hit and the tool needs to be held at least initially. Each log tends to be different so it’s a bit of an art. There is clearly some risk of hurting oneself though I have not yet done so. Essential to wear gloves.

Doesn't work that well, but it is heavy and seems decent quality. It might work will on bigger drier logs

Absolutely worth its weight in gold! Splits dry wood really easily! Heavy diamond shape! Place in centre of wood for a clean break through. Fast delivery and bigger than expected. Using a mallet to hit the wood splitter this gets to work faster than any other method to cut up wood !

Does the job very well. Robust product that is easy to use.

It is ok but not as good as two chisels to split the wood
