Is it soft enough to be used by little kids?

Hi there I have to say I didn't like this clay. I found it quite wet, and heavier than other brands. I'd recommend Hearty clay, which is very light and very malleable. If you have a Home Bargain near you, they do brilliant clay. Its meant for kids, but I use it a lot. It comes in a large sachet, and has about 12 little packets of different coloured clay. I think it is £3.99 for the bag. It takes a bit longer to dry, but that's fine; it gives you longer to mould your project! Hope that helps Lynn x

Does this work for butter or normal slime?

Sorry, I don't understand. Air dry clay clay is a craft product, used for making embellishments. It then dries in the air, as opposed to clay that you bake. It is fairly light, (although this brand is heavier than some), making it ideal for cards. Hope that helps Lynn x
