It has been ok, but always double check the pellets because whenever I put them into her bowl I always like to break the pellets apart for her before I use hot water to rehydrate as they have a tendency to stick together from the company’s preparation process and basically form a giant lump. Which I guess is different from their freeze dried cat food making process as those are perfectly formed pellets. So as I’m prepping my girl’s food and putting some of it in her bowl, I noticed some blue wax paper mixed inside a massive pellet I was about to break apart. She’s almost done with this bag and I haven’t had an issue prior to this as I always inspect her food when meal prepping since she has zero teeth. But it makes me a bit wary to purchase anymore freeze dried dog food from this brand. But always double check what you give your pets and inspect because you never know what you may find. I’ve purchased two other freeze dried flavors from this brand and will be sure to review those as well since I don’t think I can return these bags. But I usually rotate food brands and this is the first time she’s tried freeze dried as kibble isn’t the best and needed an alternative to kibble that was also shelf stable for easier meal preps.
