These worked decently for a pottery class I took where we were applying underglaze to wet clay. The bulbs mostly did okay, but occasionally I would get an air bubble that would cause me to add too much or mess up. I had a great teacher that helped fix those moments, but overall this was a useful tool to have to freehand decorate this platter.10/10 would buy again and please ignore my dummy looking plate. I am WELL aware my dia de los muertos skull is wonky LOL

My pottery students have wanted to slip trail and so far these bottles are doing the trick. They don’t seem to get as clogged as other bottles I have tried with them. They were a little pricier, but I bought them for the metal piece that fits in the bottle that I can change the tips on because tips are easily located online but finding that little metal piece is not these work as well as the more expensive ones. We haven’t had them long so I don’t know how well they will last but so far they’ve done a good job I teach about 250 students a week so they get a lot of use.

Exactly what I was looking for. I just recently have started a pottery course and am making circus animals for my daughter’s first birthday, some of the animals require very delicate line work and these were perfect for that.1. Durability is absolute fantastic, I think they are of very high quality and with many replacement. Tips you can use them for many projects2. Ease of use: the softness is fantastic, I purchased a plastic version of these earlier this months and they were not nearly as good. Super difficult to precisely squeeze out the glaze3. Two sizes: there are two different sizes one is for bigger projects the other is for smaller4. Color: they come with different coloured tips so you can technically see which color is in which pouch, as they are obviously not see through5. Storage: I recommend to fully wash them before storing them away or you’ll never be able to remove the paint

I haven't used this yet, but my main concern was that the rubber would be too stiff to manipulate smoothly. I have one that looks the same, but is too stiff to squeeze smoothly. These seem to be softer and easier to squeeze. I've just put some water in them just to try out and it works OK. Plus, there are a lot of accessories ,that are always welcome, included.

These are fantastic! I work with multiple colored clay components and these are the ticket for keeping separate colors available so I don’t have to constantly change out the color in my syringe.
