I tried to purchase through AMAZON, but the seller was having problems with delivery. **Q: Can you use this in a house with out it burning up all oxygen?** A: Kerosene heaters consume oxygen as they burn. If they are operated in a small room or in an inadequately ventilated area, oxygen in the air could be reduced to a dangerous level. Reduced oxygen supply could lead to incomplete combustion of fuel and the production of carbon monoxide. **Q: How long does one wick last? is it a replace with each use like if things? also how do i know what replacement wicks to buy? are they all compatible?** A: I've found there are two things that will shorten the life of a wick on these kerosene heaters. The first is water in the kerosene. This can happen from storing it between heating seasons as kerosene will gradually absorb moisture from the air. Adding a small amount of 91% isopropyl alcohol to your kerosene will help with the moisture problem. The second item that will shorten the life of a wick is turning the heater down to the low setting. In my experience this tends to burns the top of the wick and soot it up so it can't burn cleanly. I've learned to only run it on high setting.
