A good buy
This was a replacement for an old, well used pressure cooker. Instructions were very straight forward. As the pressure cooker is lighter and has 2 handles, its easy to lift (even with my arthritis) when full. It cooks the food slightly quicker than our old pressure cooker, but the cooking times in the instruction booklet were pretty accurate, so I should be able to adjust the timings for my other recipes without a problem. I liked the little brush that was included, to clean the weight on the top. Very pleased with it so far.

Really pleased! Brilliant!
Was a bit skeptical but had a pressure cooker years ago so decided to try.... so glad I did. Simple and easy to use with good results. Value for money, will save on your energy bills for sure, 1 cooker as opposed to 4 rings on and approx a quarter of the time for cooking, winner! Veg tastes fresh and seems to have more taste..... I cook without salt (due to medical condition) and everything tastes bland in the saucepan but with the pressure cooker wow! What a difference... not missing the salt. Easy to clean but please note I would go for 6 lts if there's two of you. 4 lts was too small but it would be ok for 1 person.

Easy to use
Pretty good and works on the induction hob. Overall quality and finish isn’t as good as our original Tefal one. Easy to use.

Dangerous pressure cooker. Technically it's not even a pressure cooker
Very rarely builds up pressure. You have to hold a cloth to blocm steam from escaping from various holes before it makes a 'pop' sound and pressure starts building (likd attached photo). This is dangerous and very likely to burn you.Needlessly complex weight and whistle also has no concept of timing. In regular pressure cookers you can count the number of whistles to know when to stop cooking. This has a constant stream of steam escaping. Not sure why prestige made such a weird and poor product when regular pressure cookers work perfectly.Wish I hadn't bought it.

Shiny and Brilliant
This is a fab pressure cooker. It’s a replacement for a very old worn cooker. This is very shiny and beautiful. It’s a bit heavier than previous model but still fzb. Need to press down on lid to secure it fits snugly and you hear the pressure escaping (only when cold) I lean with clothed arm…. So no fingerprints on lid. Great replacement great value…., lovely soup

Great for induction hob
Needed to replace old basic aluminium cooker as new hob is induction - took the chance to go for one with the newer features. All work nicely - seemt to get up to pressure much more quickly than my old one and also depressurises easily without needing to cool it downAlso easy to clean - no problems of sticking as some people report with other cookers - and I have cooked lentils in itYou do need to get the hang of closing it properly - but that is to make sure the seal is effective - and the handles could be a little more 'hand shaped' (thus the 4 star lock rating)I like the 1/2 and 2/3 marks inside as wellBut altogether a decent piece of kit

Disappointed
Arrived in manufacturer box that was not sealed and box tatty . I Have purchased two in the past and they arrived in Amazon box so manufacturer box intact and presentable as gift. The pressure cooker itself wasn’t damaged.
