Great texture for a lotion and is not at all greasy. Absorbs into skin well and is very hydrating. The smell is great and it is enough to protect me for a few hours out in the sun. I have olive skin naturally and it takes a lot for me to burn. This lotion allows me to achieve a great tan without burning. Obviously, if you have fair skin then the SPF rating of 15 will not be sufficient but for those that rarely burn it works great.

I love Coppertone tanning sunscreen & have been using it for years! It has a nice pleasant summery smell! It blends in easily and protects me from the harmful rays. This is SPF 15. It's a great product at a great price! I have tried other brands and I always go back to Coppertone!

I have been using Coppertone since the 1960s. It still has that wonderful Coppertone scent. It works well and keeps your skin supple and nourished. Make sure you get the correct sun factor (SPF) for your skin type and or environment. I always return from Florida with an awesome golden tan after using Coppertone. There is a reason why it has been on the market for decades!!

I’m giving the SPF 15 tanning lotion from Coppertone four stars. The lotion itself works really well. It spreads easily on the skin and doesn’t feel super greasy or heavy. It also absorbs pretty fast, which is nice when you’re getting ready to go outside. I like the scent too because it smells like classic summer sunscreen, which makes it perfect for beach or pool days. The SPF 15 gives a little protection while still letting you tan, which is exactly what I wanted. It helps prevent burning as quickly as having no sunscreen, and it’s easy to reapply when you’re outside for a long time. The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because the bottle wasn’t sealed when I got it. That made me a little unsure if it had been opened before, which isn’t ideal for a product like sunscreen. Besides that, the lotion itself works great and does what it’s supposed to do. Overall it’s a good tanning lotion, I just wish the packaging had been sealed for safety.

My sister always gets burned out in the sun. Not with this product. She gets nice and bronzed. Smelled good.

This is my go-to sun lotion whether in Canada, US or Mexico. I brown easily every time, evident each use by the tan lines. I can’t wear sunscreen as I react to it in very odd ways. Sunscreen blocks the sun; this product is not a sunscreen it is a tanning lotion. You will burn if you don’t put it on frequently and the frequency depends on the sun intensity and your sensitivity.

I know, why would you need an SPF this low? Skin cancer and all that. Well, for some of us who want a tan, that can only be achieved with a lower SPF. Fun fact: SPF 8 sunscreen will block approximately 87.5% of UVB radiation, while an SPF 30 sunscreen will block approximately 96.7% of UVB radiation. SPF 30 is the minimum amount for most people. And hey, some people don't even wear sunscreen! On my recent trip to Hawaii, I used this so I could look TAN. I had a combination of an 8, 15, and 30. I used them and sometimes mixed them depending on which part of my body was lighter or darker; I wanted an even tan. This 8 SPF helped me get there faster. We did about 2-3 hours of sun every other day for about two weeks. And I got all the compliments I was looking for when I got back. I like to be as responsible as I can with my skin, and some SPF is better than no SPF.

I was very pleased to find a tanning sunscreen. This is unavailable in any of the stores near me. Everything is 30 spf or higher.
