I have a Shar-Pei. Shar-Peis are picky eaters and their skin is very sensitive especially if they're not getting the right nutrition. My dog had been eating Purina for a few months after I got him and his hair began falling out and he developed sores on his neck. I switched him over to Eukanuba and all the problems disappeared and he's now an elderly 11 year old. The average life-span of a Shar-Pei is 9-12 years so I'm pretty certain that he's attained this ripe old age based on good nutrition. He prefers Eukanuba over any other dry foods. My only complaint is that the bags keep getting smaller and the price keeps getting higher. Gone are the days when I could get a 40lbs bag of Eukanuba for $44. Now I'm getting 28lbs for $84 which is ridiculous. Might just switch him over to steak at these prices.
