The range is good even if you live on a large property the signal goes through.The sound can get pretty loud when you are next to it, but this can be customized with a few clicksThe manual is kind of funny and I could not figure out how to attach the string to the alarm button until I scanned the bar code with a short video.you can mount the back plate with a supplied sticker or screw it into your desired spot. It will be still mobile - just slide it in/out. As long as your patient is able to push the button you can relax and wait for the signal.The product works right out of the box as advertised. The system is one way only. There is no acknowledge or call back feature. The call button is big enough and should work well even for partially disabled persons.The receiver needs an electrical outlet which has enough surrounding space.

if you need a piece of mind like i do with y neighbor this is a must. We have a neighbor that we keep an eye on, we don't want to feel over imposing on her and want her to have her independency so i bought this hoping the reviews were true and they are. i walked all over the yard, to where out mailboxes (its a small distance for us) . super easy to set up, literally plug the part that goes to the wall, it is loud. i dot think we have it on the loudest setting and its loud. its def worth the price for piece of mind

Repeat purchase as a gift this time. Works at a good distance if your loved one goes outside you can put the plugin base inside with a variety of ringtone and loud enough to delicate volume settings. In our case the base was in the house and button worked from the pier slightly down hill @ 50 feet. If you go outside plug the base in outside and you can still be alerted from the person inside. I made an elastic band so the call button could be worn like a watch instead of around neck and won't be dropped or knocked off table etc. Could be mounted on a bed rail etc. I've used the first set for a few years and added to the set. Have one mounted in the bathroom, bedroom, door, bedroom, and one for the wrist.Both the buttons and the plug in are sturdy and have lasted through some drops on non carpet areas. The freedom and peace of mind are great! Price is fair for the product.

got this for my 90 year old mom. She was bedridden for a time and we needed to hear her from the other rooms. This thing is perfect. Being able to change the tone was really nice, except there were really too many choices. This was particularly good for my dad. He could comfortable sleep in a different room, knowing he would hear if she needed something. This thing was a life saver.

Bought this item when my elderly mother had difficulty standing up on her own a couple months ago. Wasn't sure we needed it but thought it'd be good to have on hand.Since then, this item has been a godsend. We use it constantly throughout the day and night. Mom uses it to alert other family members in other parts of the house that she needs assistance. If we move to another room, we just take the unit with us and plug it into the nearest electrical outlet.I love the variety of sounds you can get on it also. You can do the default "ding dong" setting but you can also select famous songs like "Fur Elise" and the current one we use "Memories (from Cats)." The unit also allows you to choose between the loud volume setting, lights flashing or a softer volume setting, which is best in the middle of the night so I don't wake up startled from the loud sounds.I like how it comes with a lanyard. We always tie the device to a light or the arm of a chair so it doesn't drop and Mom always knows where to find it.It was a little hard to figure out at first (what the buttons meant and how to connect the two items) but the manual was somewhat helpful. Now it works fine for us. Definitely a great tool for caregivers and those taking care of patients/family.

I gave 5-Stars because this system (3 Transmitters + 3 Receivers) is easy to set up, covers a wide range (3 stories home), and has many available choices of tones. I lived in a 3 story home and recently purchased this system in preparation for my hip surgery so as to be able to call for help from my locations (walker, bed nightstand, bathtub) to my caregiver who can be anywhere in in my home (kitchen, 2nd bath, garage). I set a fairly loud and long tone so that my caregiver can easily hear me calling whether she is cooking with exhaust hood on, or in the garage with the washer/dryer running, or simply talking on her cell phone or simply accidentally has turned her cell phone volume down or off. I highly recommend this product if you or your family member need to call for help from others elsewhere in a multi-story home, and do not have his/her cell phone, volume set to low, or simply shut off. This system is also extremely easy to set up!

I have been using this for my father who is Ned bound. I leave it by his bed and tell him it is in case of emergency. We have tested it out multiple times and it works well. He is in my basement and I am on the second floor and it’s still rings in my room. It helps give me some Ease of mine knowing he can press the button if he needs something. Would recommend!
