But I also travel as an amateur astronomer and have used this monocular as an alternative to hauling heavy 10x50 binoculars. If you have a steady hand, this monocular does a reasonably good job for observing larger night sky objects such as the Pleiades, the Hyades, the Andromeda Galaxy and the Moon. While it is not designed as an astronomical telescope, this monocular has sufficient resolution and brightness to be used for casual stargazing, which really makes it a great all-purpose instrument at a very reasonable price. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic monoculars for eyeglass wearers *by S***X on Reviewed in the United States on January 29, 2018* I have finally found a monocular that works with my eyes. I have severe astigmatism and need to wear glasses to see. I have never been able to use a binoculars or monoculars with any satisfaction--always struggling to focus properly for my eyes. I read an article on using binoculars or monoculars with eyeglasses and found that I really need to be concerned with finding a monoculars or binoculars with at least a 16 mm long eye relief. The image is clear with no distortion around the edges. The focus adjustment is easy to use with one hand.
