The description had been updated stating that it was for decoration, which was not in the description prior. I don’t know if this means that it is unsafe for cooking or not. I don’t cook with it for that reason. I may at some point test it to see if the issue is lead or if they were just trying to increase views by saying it was decorative. Sorry this doesn’t answer the question, but relays my experience and opinion. **Q: Point blank, yes or no is this tagine lead free?** A: Yes, it is lead free **Q: How to use it with glass top electric stove?** A: The exact same instructions for the regular stove apply to the electric one.
