Review: Great Price, Easy to Install - Our LG JES2051SN4SS microwave was no longer heating so we got this to repair it. We also picked up the LG 6021W3B001V Diode to go with it for another $10 since everything online said to always replace that when you replace the magnetron as well. Replacement was super easy to do and this new one instantly fixed the problem. The replacement process was as simple as the following: 1: Remove screws holding the case on the microwave. 2. Remove case. 3. Use rubber handled needle nose pliers to diffuse the energy in the capacitor just to be sure. 4. Unplug existing Magnetron. 5. Unscrew the 5 screws holding the existing one on. 6. Replace magnetron and screw it back in. 7. Remove existing diode from capacitor. 8. Plug in new diode and screw it in. 9. Plug in magnetron. 10. Put microwave back together. It was literally as simple as unscrewing the old one in and screwing the new one in. There are no parts in the way and its right there in plain sight. Review: Magnetron revives a 7 year old expensive LG Microwave - Microwave would seem to run with no heat and no error codes. It also had a slight hum for awhile before failing. This also took out the HV Fuse. Replacement magnetron thru normal source was $180 so I took a chance at this item for $33. I also ordered and replaced the HV Diode for $6 and the HV Fuse for $25. The old magnetron showed signs of wear/arcing and sounded noisy and loaded when you first started the microwave. The fuse was open.
