Shop Best Sellers Visit the store Shop Best Sellers Visit the store Shop New Visit the store Shop New Review: Brilliant - Brilliant. In 6 weeks made a huge difference. I have recommended this to all my friends Review: A lot of packaging for 14 days supply - This Revive Collagen Menopause Max may well be a good supplement and it is certainly widely promoted and sold in many places, all of which is very reassuring, but I’m rather surprised that this huge box contains only enough for 14 days. I don’t normally comment on price but we’re talking £80 or more per month here. I noticed that it is also sold in double this quantity but suggest that you check the pricing. It cost more than twice as much when I looked. I chose this variation because it has the maximum amount of collagen in it, but I think I would have preferred blackcurrant flavour had that been an option. I would also have welcomed more information to help me know which variety was most suitable for me. This one is pineapple and coconut; whilst I can smell and taste those flavours slightly, the overall impression is a concentrated, sharp, slightly fruity, slightly bitter, gloopy syrup. You can add it to water, but I think I would rather just get it over and done with. I do dislike the packaging, and I don’t find the sachets easy to open or squeeze out (sucking might be easier). My preference would be for a bottle from which I could dispense the daily dose. I would also have liked to see more information about the origin of the collagen. Where has it been sourced and what measures have been taken to check its quality? I don’t expect to see younger looking skin within the next 14 days, but I will report back if I notice any issues or change my views.

Very expensive collagen supplement
When I received the box, I was impressed - premium packaging (actually just like a box of chocolates) but inside you get 14 small sachets, with 1 sachet recommended per day, so a 2 week supply. I have not used collagen supplements before, so I was not sure what to expect, but as a lady of a certain age, I need all the help I can get, so decided to get this box to see how it goes! The sachets are pineapple and coconut flavour. You can add it to water and drink it or take it straight from the sachet, which I decided to do. The taste is very sharp and strong - not unpleasant for me, but I can imagine some people may find it too strong and may prefer to drink it diluted. The Revive brand is well known and is sold by many leading supplement companies, so I was reassured about the quality, but what really puts me off is the price. You don't get an instant fix with this sort of thing - your skin doesn't tighten and plump up immediately after the first sachet, or even after 14 sachets so you are going to have to keep taking it for a long time (probably indefinitely). The website suggests results may be seen in 6 to 8 weeks, which means you are going to have to take at least 3 to 4 boxes of this before you can judge if it is working for you - at the current price of around £40 for a 2 week supply, that means an investment of around £160 before you know whether it is working for you. That is very expensive in my book, and personally I would not want to risk that amount of money on something that may or may not work for me. But that is just me ....

An impressive list of ingredients
This Revive Collagen has a good amount of collagen, 10,000mg of Hydrolysed Collagen from fish per sachet. I have read that an amount of 2.5 to 15 grams of collagen is needed daily for women. There are lots of other ingredients aimed at the menopausal woman which include: - Lutein and Reishi Mushroom, Vitamin K which contributes to the maintenance of bones, Vitamin B3 which contributes to the reduction of tiredness, fatigue and contributes to normal psychological function, Vitamin A which aids our skin and Selenium which aids our hair skin and nails. There are lots of other vitamins included and they are all listed on the back of the outer box. The outer box contains an inner box which holds the 14 sachets. I do feel this is rather a lot of packaging for 14 sachets, I don’t think two boxes for 14 sachets is needed. I have tried getting the collagen liquid out into a glass to add water, but I think it is better to just cut the top of the sachet and suck out the liquid. The sachets are a little difficult to open. I like the flavour which is quite sharp and fruity. The downside of taking collagen powder is the usual terrible taste, so these ones, which have a pleasant taste, are a welcome break from that. This is an expensive way of taking collagen, but I do feel these would be very handy when travelling. I have a holiday coming soon and this will be a convenient way to take collagen. I am impressed with the list of other ingredients and would purchase again, especially if travelling. I have been taking these for just over a week and it is very difficult to tell if I am seeing a benefit from them. I think collagen needs to be taking for quite some time before noting a difference. I like to take them in the evening and I do think I am sleeping slightly better, so they are promising.

Comprehensive Support for Beauty and Well-being
I must say I am pretty happy with this supplement. I am a female over 40, with some signs of ageing that we all experience.( Large pores, wrinkles, ageing skin, joint pains you know all the fun stuff.) It's not severe yet, but my body is defiantly getting older. So I started looking into collagen supplements. After I started taking this powder my skin, which is normally dry and scaly, started to look more hydrated. My nails grow faster and now I maintained an elegant length and my joints seem to heal a little better after hard workouts. I noticed that even my hair grow faster. This is a great product, I'm really satisfied. Just remember it takes time till you start to notice results, recommended to take collagen supplements for at least 3 months. Thanks for reading my review, I hope you found it helpful ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

So easy!
Great pack of collagen supplements, dosed or so it's easy to know how much to take. Nice selection of vitamins to support pre menopausal females. I can't comment on skin changes as its far too soon to tell, changes to skin texture abs laxity often takes months of consistent use. Overall it seems very good quality and it tastes fine too.

Too Pricey & Horrid Taste
As a woman of a certain age who takes collagen supplements on the off-chance that they will make a difference I decided to try the menopause max version of this product. It contains 10g of type 1 collagen per sachet and also has a lot of added vitamins in sensible quantities and other additional components like reishi mushroom extract and lutein which is supposedly good for eye health. Each sachet is quite small at 22 grams and is supplied like a sports gel where you tear the top off and drink it directly. If you already take collagen powder you will know that the downside of it is its horrible taste so taking collagen in a fruity flavoured gel seems like a much more appealing prospect. These particular gels are coconut & pineapple flavour, so not my favourites but was hoping they might be pleasant enough. Unfortunately the taste of these sachets is awful and it was a struggle to get the gel down. I think in this case I'd actually prefer the taste of powdered collagen. I also found they left a long term aftertaste in my mouth. A lot of collagen supplements I have tried have been multi-type but this one is Type 1 only marine collagen which is thought to help with healthy skin, hair and nails however there is little scientific evidence to prove that taking this type of collagen supplement will actually help. The convenience of gel sachets and the fact that they have a lot of added nutritional components is the plus point for this product, but for the price of £46.99 for a 14 day supply they fall well into that category of over-priced, making money out of peoples insecurities and I think a multi-collagen powder plus a multi-vitamin would give the same or better results for much less cost.

Pleasant tasting collagen shot with added vitamins
This is not a cheap supplement, so it is nice that the effort has been made to have the packaging feel very luxe. Bonus points for the purple, my favourite colour. You get fortnight’s worth of collagen shots, one a day, presented in little sachets which you could easily pop in your bag to take on the go. No guidance I could see as to when you should take it, so I just have mine first thing in the morning. These are a marine collagen as opposed to bovine collagen, and having just been trying some of the latter it is noticeable that these ones are a much thinner consistency. There is also an unmistakable saltiness amidst the pineapple and coconut flavour, although the actual amount of salt content is pretty minimal (0.03g per sachet). That said, the flavour is reasonably pleasant. These sachets do also contain 50% of your daily recommended dosage of several vitamins. Slightly annoying it isn’t the full percentage as I’m now wondering whether to skip my normal multi vitamin and be low on my dosage, or take it anyway and be having too much. Far too early to tell if these will have a noticeable effect on my skin, but if you feel you can afford it then give it a go. Cheaper than a face lift!
