You will be perceived as a more exciting person with extraordinary powers. He has a humorous tongue-in-cheek writing style. How he came to know all of these esoteric things is a mystery. A great deal of the book covers magic tricks and stunts. As a professional magician, I learned as much from Every Trick in the Book as from my primary textbooks on magic. If the only thing you take away from this book is how to use Gaffer Tape, it's worth any price you pay.

I bought The Encyclopaedia of Ball Juggling twenty years ago, and I still have it and use it. And so when I found Charlie Dancey had written a book about EVERYTHING, I was thrilled and bought it straight away. And I was not disappointed. This book is just brilliant. There is so much in it, and it's a pleasure to read. Being in alphabetical order makes it a series of pleasant surprises from page to page, but there is a useful by-topic contents page if you want to look things up. This book will keep me busy for ages! Thank you, Mr. Dancey!

I gave the book a high rating because I've never seen anything quite like it. Learned lots of tricks and strange facts, and keep dipping into it for more information.A perfect gift for just about anyone.

I bought this as I'm interersted in magic and when I first opened this book I was a little bit disappointed because there wasn't so much about magic itself but then I started to read it and now I have read it from cover to cover at least twice. This book is funny and it activates you to try new interesting things. It has really much of juggling which seems to be one of my new hobbies. The book is funny as I told and good English having really a lot of knowledge about almost everything. The pictures are nice too and it tells if there is more about thigs it's telling you about. This book makes you curious about new things and you start googling more about it.
