The magnified glass teardrop measures 18x25mm (0.7" x 1") and is set in a gunmetal finish bezel setting and then hung from an 18" gunmetal beaded satellite chain. Each piece comes in its own custom gift pouch with literature on the species of butterfly and a free die-cut sticker or magnet! The Papilio Bromius butterfly, also known as the "Blue Banded Swallowtail", is an "afrotropical" insect most commonly found in the African highland forests of Tanzania, Kenya, Congo, Zambia, Uganda, Senegal, Ghana, Nigeria, Angola, Sierra Leone, & the Ivory Coast. It's wings are black with bands and spots of steely metallic baby blue. Its larvae feeds on citrus fruit plants. *NOTE* No Butterflies are harmed in the making of my jewelry!
