The description leads you to believe that these tiles have a rock face which is incorrect. The face is made of plastic and has a foam backing with an adhesive layer. For the estimated 2 dollars per square foot you definitely can do better with real tile from a store than these and there are plenty of tiles for this price that look way better. Now to be fair, if the description of this product wasn't misleading...the overall quality of them and design is not bad. The fact that they are a pliable material that would be easy to cut and install can make your home project easy and if you are not putting this in any main bathroom would be a good way to provide protection to you walls and an added layer of insulation to maybe a basement bathroom. I definitely wouldn't put this in the kitchen as a backslash as also recommended. I would trust any type of major heat source (ie. Stove/hot pan) as I could see it melting. But if you need a quick, no mess easy install to cover a wall...not a bad option at all.

I returned those because they were thin and flimsy feeling though I never installed them. The apptern was nice and the size was right.

Has a foam behind making it too thick to look like real tile. They accepted my return requests I would have to ship it to China which would cost close to the same as the items. Amazon said they would cover the cost of return once I sent them the tracking number but Canada Post said the return ticket didn’t have a legitimate return address. Still waiting for Amazon to tell me how how to proceed.

Well they are good for the price. I put them around my fire place. Should have gone for the real thing though.

These tiles do look great and will match my countertop perfectly. They appear to be of good quality. I just received them and I don't know how well they'll stick and how easy it'll be to install as a backsplash. I may change my rating. However, on first glance, I do really love the colour and the texture. I hope they're easier to install than the countertop peel and stick(also Amazon). But, that's a different review. But, the match is almost perfect. Can't wait to get it all done.
