**Q: Can you bake a cake in it**
A: I have never baked in it, but if you use the wire rack that came with the roaster to hold the cake pan up off the bottom I don't see why it wouldn't work. You need to use an oven thermometer to make sure the temperature is correct for what you are baking, because the temp control on the front of the roaster is not very accurate.

**Q: will this come to a full boil so I could waterbath can pint or quart jars under?**
A: No..you need a pot that covers the jars by an inch or more..plus it needs to be at a full rolling boil

**Q: Does this have a three prong plug?**
A: No, it is a two-prong.

**Q: How high (deep) is the inside of the inside pot?**
A: 6 inches..but it holds a lot

I’m extremely happy with this roasting pan! It’s sturdy, well-made, and heats evenly, which makes a huge difference when roasting meats and vegetables. The pan is deep enough to catch drippings without spilling, and the handles are strong and easy to grip, even with oven mitts. Cleanup was surprisingly easy, and it still looks great after multiple uses. This pan has quickly become a staple in my kitchen, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who loves cooking or hosting family meals.
