1st new purchase (black): I bought these pillowcases before and they're great to sleep on, so I'm assuming these will be great too. I got about 2 years out of them last time and I had to sew them twice. I'm not sewing them again so I got new ones. This time they were shipped in a Ziploc baggie, basically. They arrived opened. It skeeves me out because who knows what has touched them or crawled in and out. I just don't know why they'd be shipped in anything less than the simply Amazon envelopes.2nd new purchase (purple and turquoise): Packaged nicely!! No issues there. I had purchased these colours a year or more ago and purchased new ones now for new pillows. I made a mistake thinking turquoise was what I got before. This turquoise is like a sky/robin's egg blue in person. It's lovely but I was actually meant to buy teal again. I just placed an order and will gift the blue ones to my niece. The purple is as lovely as before. I really do find these pillowcases to be the most comfortable and affordable. Thank you! Attaching a photo of the two blues! The darker one is the teal and it's lovely in person.3rd edit: The "real" is a different colour than the "teal" I ordered last year. Be wary that it's a dark blue.

I still gave it a 5 stars, because it could be me?!? Nothing new about electricity running through my body at night where I can literally see sparks when I move! Ya, a strange one, I am. lol So, I have had this case for 2 years and it has balled up so badly, that I can't even use it anymore. So today, I just ordered a different one from a different company on Amazon. And the heat that this thing radiates is something awful. Hence, it still could be all me and nothing to do with this case. I'd say it lasted a year before the balling up started. Thank you

I’ve seen many reviews mad that this isn’t silk, it is though. Satin is a type of silk, there’s different types and of you want to invest in something like 100 percent just silk you should research it a little before hand. Silk is super expensive! You will never find a deal that’s under $50 for a pillow case that is just 100 percent silk. I have 3 slip pure silk pillow cases a king sized pillow case is $110 and a queen is $80 and they feel pretty much the same. If you want just a pure fancy pillow case than I recommend slip, they also have hair bows and those are more affordable. Anyways I took pictures for comparison and I’ll say the difference I can tell is the satin feels a little more slippery and feels a tad bit softer. Neither are breathable and are not made to be, these are not for people that want a cooler pillow case. They do not soak moisture from your hair nor face so you might wake up more oily but it’s still healthier for your hair than a normal pillow case. All silk types main purpose is that it prevents a lot of breakage because there’s less force on your hair from tossing and turning at night, it’ll also keep your face moisturizes and mask on better because it won’t absorb it. This was a great deal I got my son a pillow case set, plus me some back up pillow cases for when mine is dirty, and I’m not really sure the huge spurge in money for the 100 percent silk was really worth it after now having this for much cheaper but I’m stuck with them so I’ll of corse continue to use both. I will say with the slip silk though it not being as slippery makes it a littler easier to stay on my bed but it’s still got some movement. The pink paisley print is the slip pillow case. The champagne, purple, and burgundy color are the satin silk pillow cases off this listing.

I have two of these: one for my bed pillow and one on the couch. My curly hair is very much protected when i lay on it due to these pillowcases. They also feel slightly cool which is a bonus. Easy to clean. I wash with the whites and just hand dry. No issues

I know this pillow probably isn’t the real deal, and so far it’s only been 1 day of having, BUT I like this pillowcase very much! It’s soft, SO silky feeling, the color is beautiful and bright!! I always wash stuff after opening so these have had 1 wash and nothing snagged or came apart. The stitching is still good 🙌🏼 (for now) - I didnt put them in the dryer. They actually air dried pretty fast so it wasn’t even a big deal. To be honest I got these mainly bc the color online looked so unique. I got the turquoise and sure enough it’s even prettier in person - would recommend these for someone looking to feel luxurious at a cheaper price 💯 🤙🏼
