As for the looks, they are absolutely gorgeous!! The red pedals with the chrome pins looks so sharp - not that people see that when you're riding, but hey, it's the little things right? Also, the fact that they are a bit tapered at the ends is exactly what I was looking for (concern 3). And the aluminum aspect of it I think is awesome. They're lighter than my expensive-ish nylon pedals on my Mukluk. By that, I mean for example, when you try to make 'em spin by slapping one side or by using your garden hose when you're washing it, they don't spin much. Are they the rounded torx heads in the customer pics or the more pointed heads in the item pics?** A: They are slightly rounded which is good news for your shin should the pedal come around and contact that area. There are sharper pins out there which might bite a bit harder on the shoe but it’s a trade off. I think these are the best all around. They lock into the tread of the shoe with out tearing it up. I can’t attach a photo but it is very clearly rounded in the pic I took **Q: To confusing on special offers can you make it more simple ?** A: They are great platforms! If you are after platforms **Q: Anyone know of toe clips and straps for these pedals?** A: From my pair, shoe clips are not compatible. **Q: Is there a way to get replacement nuts, both the left and right-handed threads?
