This is a nice thermometer. We have individual ones (ear, forehead, under tongue) and I really like having both options in one single unit. We tested it against the others to see how accurate it was, and while the readings were not exact, they were very close (off by 0.1 degrees most of the readings). The top was hard to remove on the first attempt, but once we got it opened, it was easier to do, but it still stays on with a sturdy hold. It is actually very easy to use, change modes and the colored light indicator is fairly useful, specially when you switch between modes and can forget what range is considered febrile depending on where you took the temperature. I especially like the ability to go into silent mode as I've had to take many temperatures at night and the sound does wake the babies up sometimes. Overall, great product thus far.

Been looking for a great forehead thermometer as even at my children’s age they don’t like the one for your tongue or under your arm pit. I’ve tried the thermometer by pushing it down without touching skin and it read an unilateral number. I tried it on my forehead several times and it displayed the same numbers. Thus assuming it works pretty accurately. I love how easy it was to use. This device came with batteries included and a carry bag as well. It has shown to be a great asset to our family. You will never know when this will be needed and considering we didn’t have one already it was a great buy for a great price. One click and it reads the temperature of your forehead so it’s good for those fast and unwilling babies who don’t want to take their temperatures.

Complete piece of crap. Don't buy this!!! I saw that there was a discount and to be honest these things all have similar features and about the same consistency in reviews, so after reading a bunch of reviews for comparable thermometers, I just went with this one for the slightly lower price. Can't speak for the other ones out there, but this thermometer is always giving my a wide range of readings within a few seconds of each other, regardless of whether I use it on the forehead or in the ear. They are usually low, but sometimes high. The pattern of running low is quite dangerous actually, because I could be disregarding what is really a high fever. I just never know what I'm going to get with this thing. It's quite disappointing because I ordered this for my newborn, and having a fever over 100.4 merits a trip to the hospital. So yeah, it's a significant risk to be selling something so inaccurate.

It was good while it lasted, unfortunately it does not work anymore. I change batteries 3 times (3 different brands) and it still doesn't turn on. I use my thermometer basically weekly. It's easy to use and it lights up red + beeps more than once when it reads a high tempeature (fever). Ear, forehead and house temperatures are not accurate. If you take a forehead temp followed by an ear temp literally a minute apart, the read different, almost always way off. I ended up having to buy a new thermometer today because we really need it. I would've loved for this one to have a longer life....

This is a great thermometer if you need to take a temperature quickly. You press the power button on top and then hold it up to your temple and press the power button to take a reading and in 1 second it displays the temperature. This is very quick and easy and will put your mind at ease if you want to do it every day on your child to know a round about temperature. It has a mode where you can also take off the top and put it in the ear- this gave me the same read out as the forehead. It did differ slightly when I tried it on three people, but it ran a degree low compared to a mercury thermometer. I would use this a fast screening tool.

Great little tool to have with you, comes with own little sack to keep it in. Comes with instructions, very easy to use, with the different options to adjust to your baby’s need weather it be checking his temp by ear or by forehead. It gives you a quick response, but does seem to cause a little discomfort by gliding it from one side of the forehead to the other, when using this product I did also find it a little confusing to turn on with power button as it doesn’t allow you to record reading, I have to press the MEM button then press power button til it lights up green, release and press & hold down to get forehead reading

I received the product yesterday and was really excited to try. As a brandnew parents, we always worry about whether we overdress our baby or not. So we generally use thermometer to check our newborn's temperature to make sure our baby doesn't get too hot or too cold. Having a easy and quick reading is a must for us. The silent button is awesome because it doesn't disturb the baby when we check her temp while she is sleeping. The home button is also a plus for us too. We haven't try the ear function yet since her ear is too small. I also have read some reviews about how this thermometer is not accurate. For us, if you think your child is having a fever then check the rectal because it is the most accurate way to check for temp since it is a corebody temperature. The forehead always fluctuate anywAy.

Oh my goodness this is fantastic! I have a pile of thermometers that don’t work and never did. I even had to exchange one three times and it still didn’t work! This is amazing! I love how fast and accurate the reading is. Switching from forehead to ear mode is so easy, just press the mode button. It light up green while taking the temperature so that helps keep anxiety down those few seconds while waiting. If it glows red then your kiddo has a fever 😢 I wish I would have purchased this a year ago before buying so many expensive ones that were hard to navigate, gave inaccurate readings or just didn’t work. I love the carrying bag so it can be easily seen and kept safe. A must have for all parents!!
