Loving these runners
So far, so good.I have others from this brand and love them. So naturally, when it was tiny for new runners, I ordered these. No cramped feet or unwanted foot stress. They are comfortable and supportive, as well as relatively cool.Just looking to see about durability. My others are extremely durable, so my hopes are high.

Versatile, comfortable and budget friendly shoes
These are nice looking and incredibly comfortable shoes for a great price. The wide toe box is great and helps the feet really breathe! They are also really lightweight. I’ve been a lifetime Nike customer, but these might be the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn.

Comfortable, true to size, no foot blisters.
So far so good, I bought these for my son. He uses them to run on the treadmill. Other running shoes caused him foot blisters, these seem to be working great. Its ben over a month and absolutely no complaints, he loves them. Will definitely recommend, and the price is right.

Amazing value
These are fantastic! The wide width is actually wide (fits like a 4E). The wide toe box is super comfortable and the shoe is very lightweight. Great traction in the wet or dry. And the shoe is one of the few zero drops available with enough padding to be comfortable all day. The orange color is vibrant and fun. The shoe may not last as long as comparable Altras, but at 1/6th the price, you'll come out way ahead.

Wide toe box is amazing
Got these as camp shoes and they have become every day shoes. I figured after hiking I'd want nice light airy shoes... and then I just started wearing these all the time because they are so freaking comfortable. Super light, city shoes as they don't have deep traction but they are holding up great and soooo comfortable!

Five stars for the fit, one star for the durability
I put a lot of miles on shoes. I am not a small person, so I tend to destroy shoes pretty quickly. The good:These shoes fit wide, triangle-profile feet very well (Big toe is the longest, then each toe gets progressively shorter - looking down, it looks like a triangle.) I used to look for 4E shoes, now I look for foot-shaped shoes, like these. They are semi-barefoot shoes, meaning that they are barefoot shape, there is zero drop, but there is a bit of cushioning like a more standard running shoe. The sole has a good base thickness and very small traction features with contributes to getting decent life out of the sole as long as you stay on pavement or flat dirt. These are not an off-road shoe. The ugly:The interior of these shoes, for me, lasts about 50 miles. This is abysmal. I have several holes develop. One in the inside, low down on my heel and one at the top of the rigid plastic heel counter. These get progressively larger over time. With strategic taping and thicker socks I can still wear them, but they do start to eat the socks. I get about 250 miles out of the sole before it wears through. This is pretty good for an inexpensive shoe and they certainly last longer than soles with large lugs on them. The soles obviously get more slick when the little traction features wear off, but for street use they are fine.I have worn out several pairs of these in exactly the same way. Why? The fit. I am actively looking for other shoes with a similar fit that I hope will last longer.

Legit wide shoes
Got these for use for the gym HIIT workouts. I have wide feet (typically wear 2E or 4E for New Balance running shoes) and these are glorious. I have plenty room for my toes and the width is perfect. Been wearing these for a little bit and the amount of cushion is just right for my usage (HIIT & gym). The flexibility in the soles are also great for all movements so far. We'll see how the durability is after a few months.

Super Comfortable Casual Shoe
This is exactly what I wanted: it's a casual shoe like something from Skechers, but has the toe box of an Altra, and costs a fraction of either. I dig the look and I plan to use them for walking, work, and general casual use. I wanted something that I could potentially wear all day without discomfort and these seem perfect for that. The build quality is good, not excellent. It uses a faux suede material around the eyelets that looks a bit cheap. The toe box uses a formed knitted material which doesn't seem to be especially breathable (my "light test" showed very little light getting through) but it looks nice. There's a reflective strip with the logo on it, which I like. Compared to my expensive Altra running shoes and my Reebok cross-trainers, those shoes rely more on plasticky bits held on with glue. The overall quality of the Whitins is not far off the mark. The rubberized sole might be the first thing to wear out, as it's not especially thick. But compare that to Skechers which often go with a cheaper, less durable foam sole, and the Whitin soles look durable by comparison. If you plan to run in these, keep in mind that these are zero-drop shoes and while they have padding, it's probably not enough for people who run on their heels. It's best for fore/midfoot runners. It's really impressive that you can get something that looks nice and feels this good on your feet for such a low price.Fit: I'd go 1-1.5 sizes down from your usual. I wear 11.5-12 men's, and the 11 fit me best here, with a little room to spare.
