The spring flap on my electric had snapped off. Probably ripped off my mechanical car wash. Anyway I got this to keep moisture out. The problem is that it is a loose fit. I have put a bit of black electrical tape around it to keep it on. I’ll just re tape it each time after towing.

This is the second of these covers that I have bought. The first one from another retailer, which was stolen from my vehicle, fitted perfectly over the towbar electrics socket. This replacement cover although of a similar quality material wise is far to loose and does not have enough grip to stay in place when the vehicle is moving.
