Our son had played with Gravitrax at a friend's house and loved it. We got this large set on a deal and hoped it would still hold his imagination by Christmas. Shouldn't have worried as it's not been put away yet! This set has lots of pieces and combinations he can make several tracks before having to break down, it keeps him occupied independently and he has lots of fun creating new routes and making things more complex. Although it includes many pieces there are still plenty of add on units which we'll likely get for his birthday.This is really great set!
