My family is a big fan of Bollywood cinema, and this book wonderfully transports all the vibrancy and excitement typically seen in those films right onto its pages. The author has done a magnificent job illustrating the book, with the street scenes effectively reflecting the authentic Mumbai ambiance, barring the whimsical dance sequences, of course. We thoroughly relished reading this book, and we're confident that it will be a hit with you and your children as well. We're eagerly anticipating what Ms. Dwivedi has in store for us next.

What a vibrant, stunning, fun and interesting book exploring the Bollywood scene and the streets of Mumbai. Almost like a love letter to the genre, and also to the cityscape, this unique title gives multi points of view as it scrolls through a young girl’s life in Mumbai and her trip to the cinema on Friday nights to watch the latest Bollywood blockbuster. The girl holds a movie camera in her hands, tells the story of her life, and the illustrations show us first her and the surroundings at a remove, and then move through her imagination to a Bollywood dance scene in the middle of the highway, and then back to reality smelling the popcorn and the samosas in the cinema foyer. She watches the movie, and the cinema become a community with the film, as does the reader. Then we see the girl grow into a movie director herself. Congratulations to the author Avani Dwivedi on her first picture book debut, absolutely nailed it ! Very imaginative and creative work done by her.Bollywood movies are always special to Indian’s and this book portrays the joy & excitement of going out to watch a film with family. It takes you through the dreams of little girl imagining her hometown (Mumbai) with Bollywood scenes such as twisting streets , listening to music on first monsoon rain, traffic police as super hero, famous Bandra-Worli sea bridge, crowd dancing and the fun filled movie watching experience with family enjoying all that Bollywood drama.Really worth reading it !!! My 4 years kid loved it too :)

Very Good book for Kids, my daughter and Son love it. Bollywood movies watching on Friday night in Mumbai is very special for all of us with Family and Mumbai. The author of this book Avani Dwivedi very nicely illustrate and covered the Movie night with Family. My Kids enjoy a lot after seeing the Dancing on road, roof of car and specially police traffic in Singham avatar. Very Nice Avani and worth reading it. waiting for your next book.

Amazing buy !!My cute little girl began to take interest as soon as I opened it. It is easily understandable with lovely and colorful graphics and pictures.We love how this book conveys in a funny and easy language for kids with graphics and rhythmic lyrics "टिप टिप करते बादल".
