09985 Extended Life Pressure Canner Sealing Ring/Overpressure Plug Gasket for Presto Pressure Cooker 01745,01751,01784, 01755, 01781 (1-Pack)

I have only been using this for a short time but I can say this seal is different than all the other generic ones listed here. The material feels much softer and pliable. You can definitely tell this is an entirely different kind of seal. The OEM Presto seals work great at first but after using it for a few months it shrinks and you are stuck spending $20+ on a replacement. I have even tried some of the other low cost seals here and they are all very similar to the Presto Brand or they fit weird. I will update this review in a few months of use to see how it holds up! So far I give it 5 stars!

I have been using this gasket for over a month now and it is holding up great. It did appear to be slightly larger than the oem seal but easily fit into its place and it works great. It is not showing any signs of shrinking or drying out yet. If this every wears out I will be purchasing this again.

The gasket and rubber valve work great.

this product felt flimsy right out of package and didn't go on tight like a new seal should it was a sloppy fit and was pouring steam out the sides right from the beginning. wouldn't even build enough pressure to get the air out. waste of my time and money they are returned

This product is to big for my pressure canner

Amazing alternative to the Presto brand seal. This brand fits tighter than the original ones but I can tell it will last longer even after 5 uses. When I first got it, I almost thought it was too big but it fits great on my 23 Quart cooker and if it shrinks a little it won't matter. Great product!
